We’re now 18 days away from Pushups For Charity events taking place all around the country.
If you’re not “pumped up” to push it yet, then it’s time to get excited and get ready!
This week we’re got a great video to share with you from a recent interview done with Capt. Chad Flemming.
As we shared last week, Capt Flemming was featured in our campaign last year and we’re honored to have him with us again for 2013!
Chad was injured on Oct 3, 2005 while serving in Afghanistan.
He calls it his “alive” day.
After 23 surgeries, Chad had his leg amputated.
And went back to active duty in the service.
While Chad might be missing a leg, he knows there are others out there who are missing a whole lot more.
He practices a RELENTLESS attitude and his story is inspiring to say the least.
To your success,
Sean Greeley
Director, Pushups For Charity
P.S. All funds raised through Pushups For Charity go directly to the Boot Campaign. The Boot Campaign takes care of veterans and their families through things like purchasing mortgage free homes, providing spouse and survivor counseling, and providing jobs.
As Capt Flemming says, “what you see is what you get” with the Boot Campaign.
P.P.S. How many pushups are you going for this year?
